"One of the legit coffee shops at San Carlos that offers good espresso based coffee. I loved their cookies. Some baristas need improvement in their latte art and extraction though."

"The food is tasty and my brew coffee had a nice subtle flavor. I don't drink black and in philippines true cream is hard to find. So I usually need a lot of powder creamer, but the coffee was smooth so I only needed half of what I normally need. The atmosphere has a cool vibe."

"Sestra Cafe is a comfortable, contemporary cafe that fits your way of life. from pastas, coffee, coolies, cakes, frappes, and delicious desserts. It is easily accessible and situated along the road. It's next door, next to Mr. C. Their double chocolate frappe is a must-try; it's on par with those from well-known coffee shops. Try this place when you're in San Carlos and see why it's a must-try! #BiyaHelton"

"Their location is conveniently accessible on the main highway. There are a few parking slots available right in front of the café, and another one on the other side. If there’s no space there, you might need to wait a bit. The data service signal for Smart is exceptionally great in this location — super reliable! The coffee tasted great! I ordered a Spanish latte with an extra espresso shot — quality is definitely above average. There were some missing items on the menu, so we tried other drinks instead. The space is clean and welcoming. However, when I went to the restroom, there was no tissue, and the toilet didn’t flush properly. They don’t have credit card payments available for now, but they do accept GCash aside from cash. Overall, it was a good experience. I might visit again!"

"As Brunch is our favorite weekend meal, Our US tradition. Since we moved we haven’t found places to do our weekend brunches so we opted for Sestra this weekend. Food was great although pretty penny for PH-San Carlos Market You do however get why you pay for. Only points I have are the following 1. Ube Cheese Muffin was moist and fluffy however I feel it needs more Ube and some sort of texture enhancements, something crunchy on top maybe to have next level texture difference. Loved the little cheese topping, I do wish there’s more of it maybe sprinkled inside or turned into a cheese crumble to hit that other textural note and maybe enhance the Ube flavor more as it’s not very noticeable 2. Loved the Tocino meal but I thought the mix veggies on the side was a miss. It seemed like a lost garnish addition. Maybe swap out a vibrant achara instead, I know they make a great one at their other location. It’d probably compliment and add value to the plate more than a boring old mixed veggies and will add to esthetic of the plate. A side of spice vinegar would also go a long way. 3. Blended frappes were great I had a mocha and my child had double chocolate We loved our drinks and definitely more than we needed 4. pancake was fluffy and of good texture also, would love if they had option to add side of bacon or eggs to add to pancake plate for a fee Jane Bayle Pastry Chef- James Beard Nominee Food Critic, Hospitality Critic, Chef Consultant"
